Lawai (Juridisk ABC)

Access to legal advice is often limited, especially for businesses that do not have the resources to seek traditional legal help. Juridisk ABC has therefore developed LawAi, an innovative AI tool, to meet the need for more accessible legal guidance. In the sandbox project, we look at how generative AI can be used to provide legal advice while safeguarding privacy.

LawAi has been developed with a focus on employment law. The tool is designed to help managers, HR departments and others with personnel responsibilities to find quick answers to legal questions related to the Working Environment Act, such as setting up employment contracts and handling notification cases.

Through the use of generative artificial intelligence, LawAi can offer fast and precise guidance based on a curated library of laws, document templates and courses developed by Legal ABC. This means that businesses can save time and resources on legal work, while at the same time ensuring quality-assured answers based on up-to-date information.

Goals for the sandbox project

In the sandbox, we look at how LawAi can use legal decisions and sensitive data in a legal and ethically sound way.

The main purpose of the project is to investigate which legal bases are necessary for using court decisions to train the AI solution, as well as how employers can use such tools as decision support in specific employment law cases. These are important questions that may have an impact on both legal services and privacy regulation in the future.
